Hello, my name is Robbert Decock.

I'm a student at KTA1 Hasselt and I went on an internship for 2 weeks at AppSaloon.

Working with the BIG GUYS for two weeks #awesome

AppSaloon is a company that is specialised in developing cool web applications and websites.

My knowledge of HTML or WordPress is not that great, and because I had only worked with Adobe Dreamweaver, they gave me the more graphic assignments.

Among my tasks were refurbishing the Arduino-Jam website (it's not online yet) , designing a new logo and creating a short introduction movie of the Jam.

Quite fun you might say.

The AppSaloon team supported me at any time, if I had a problem someone always tried to help me.

They're a bunch of crazy hardworking funny guys who aspire to provide the best result for your idea or project.

Great colleagues, a very nice office space, a lot of fun and passionated workers, ... those are the right words to describe this company.

I learned many things, like how to handle deadlines, how to finish something in a short time, using a new code editing program,… I have a clear vision now of how things work in the real world.

Those two weeks where great!

Not only because I got to work at a company with new programs and other stuff but also, working with other people and dealing with criticism.

A few things I will definitely keep in mind for the future.

An internship I'll never forget.
